I’m so glad you stopped by!
I absolutely love encouraging others and teaching them how to explore their own family history. I have a true passion for writing, and have been penning poems and short stories since 6th grade. My genealogical research is also a passion and it spans thirty years, including authorship of four private family history books. This includes the research for a Major League Baseball icon, an R&B artist, a Minister, and dozens of other tree lines for family, friends and co-workers.

About Carlitta
After finishing high school on the island of Oahu, Honolulu Hawaii, Carlitta became a caregiver, so serving people has always been a part of what she has done.
Her background includes a certificate in the Principles of Genealogical Research from Boston University, a B.S in Nursing and an M.A. in Leadership. As a result, she understands the need for confidentiality and guidance about the nuances of all things family.
She is a member of the Afro-American Genealogical Society of Northern California (AAGSNC), West Coast Christian Writers, and the Lansdale VFW Post 67 Auxiliary, and she was awarded co-winner of the Logo Design contest for DHCS’s Medi-Cal program in 2006.
Her work has been published in the Upper Room, the UND Alumni Review and the following magazines and anthologies, and one self-published book.
