Sharing Stories, Inspiring Connection
Whether through words, teaching, or one-on-one guidance, I love helping others preserve their stories and uncover the threads that connect generations. My work combines a lifelong passion for writing, a heart for faith-based storytelling, and years of experience in genealogical research.
From crafting meaningful devotionals and memoirs to guiding beginners in their family history journey—or even helping you express difficult emotions through a letter or obituary—my goal is to support, encourage, and bring clarity through the written and spoken word.
Below are the ways we can work together:
Freelance Writing
As a former freelance writer for the Observer Group Newspaper in Kern County, I enjoy human interest and travel stories. I am also available for hire on magazine articles. Primary focus is Christian Writing, Devotionals, Creative Non-Fiction and Memoir.
Speaking
I am available to speak to small church groups, classrooms, and other intimate settings on the benefits of beginning genealogical research and how to get started. I can also speak to those challenged with teen pregnancy and teen motherhood, including health issues. Will negotiate fee.
Consultation
Available to consult with regarding specific family history research, brick walls or simple census searches and newspaper articles. I can also do on-site research of known California documents (fee-based and mileage charges apply).
**Need help writing an important healthcare correspondence or an obituary? I can do that too! (fee-based).
